At the end of May 2011 Sirius Analytical instructed ILG to provide highly specific service for an up and coming event and major exhibition in Korea. For the customer’s high specification goods and high value items an ATA Carnet was required to ensure smooth and expedient movements both ex-UK and into KR, all of which needed to be complete within two days of collection.
To compound the puzzle the loaded pallet boxes and associated items were out of gauge for our Courier network so after 22 years of industry experience an express freight movement and specialised carrier with proven bias’ on delivery performance and customer / receiver relations was sought to perform the dedicated and time sensitive delivery.
The success and customer delight was again recognised and with the goods now being back in the UK they are scheduled for export and delivery in the Czech Republic on Friday. For the last day of the event a dedicated collection vehicle ex-UK has been scheduled to collect the items, bringing them back to the U.K. within 24hrs so the customer can re-work some of the items according to a prescribed timeline, finally ensuring their trust in ILG once again to perform the ultimate event delivery back to their offices in the U.S.A.
