Trend is one of Europe's leading Building Management Systems manufacturers to the worldwide HVAC markets. They provide totally integrated HVAC systems solutions to the complicated requirements that many types of building demand today.
All specific applications, product variations and installations are only carried out through the unique Trend quality approved distribution and supply network of companies.Trend operate a “just in time” manufacturing plant in Horsham. They have a daily inbound consumables flow from a number of local suppliers and daily output of finished manufactured items for delivery globally to building sites and engineers for installation.
We have provided 3rd party logistics for Trend since 1994. Each day starts with an inbound delivery from ILG Assured to Trend of plastics and consumables to replenish their stocks. We import and store all Trend pre manufactured finished goods in our secure Burgess Hill facility. Once delivery of the consumables has taken place we then assess the outbound logistics needs, establishing the picking volume of goods in our store and what to expect from the manufacturing schedule that day.
Our local proximity to the Horsham plant is the key to our success. A series of 3-4 daily deliveries of finished manufactured goods from the plant feeds the consolidation process with stored pre manufactured products until all orders are complete and shipped.
Trend require our complete range of delivery solutions to most countries in the world with a full range of legalisation and consular services to make this very complex logistics solution work and ensuring smooth delivery to their clients. It is a challenging supply chain that requires a real team effort on a daily basis and one, which we are proud to be part of.
