Cliff wins Staff Member of the Month Award

24th October 2011

It gives us great pleasure in announcing the details of staff member of the month for September 2011 as follows.

Nominations for September were as follows:Jason Talman, Rachel Lowdell, Sam Westwick, Dave Payne, Steve Ettridge, Helen Nichols, Mike Jones, Tom Ashley, Paul Langridge, Mark Graves, Suzie Simms,

As always, some superb candidates and new names making a worthy appearance, keep up the great work and thanks to all for your efforts.

Before announcing the overall winner we have additional awards this month going to:

Linda Aitken –  £75.00 – Linda has been recognised for her hard work and attention to detail on every aspect of the account she is assigned  to. Linda thinks on her feet and uses her own initiative to find a resolution to potential issues quickly, often without having to involve her Team Leader.  A particular instance involved the pack & despatch of small charms on orders with other larger items, it was reported on a couple of occasions that the items were cited as missing on delivery, but then located mixed in with other items.  As a solution to this issue Linda had the idea to put the charms into small clear bags and attach these to the dispatch notes separating them from other items, making them clearly visible and identifiable on delivery.

Lee Simmons –  £75.00 – Lee’s work on DRIVE has been exceptional, it has affected the whole company. It is totally out of his job remit so certainly qualifies for a vote and I can’t think of another instance of such a fundamental project being delivered by anyone in the business like this. DRIVE affects all areas of the business and, whilst not his idea from the original group put together, Lee is has taken ownership of the project and spearheaded the project. He has designed posters, worked on logo’s, written a presentation and managed the launch of the system across the business. Superb piece of work that will have a lasting impact on ILG.

Well done to you all, you stepped up to the mark when required and make a real difference to ensure we continued delivering services we can be proud of.

So onto our Staff Member of the Month for September?

CONGRATULATIONS GO TO…………………………………………………………..

Cliff Allen

Cliff is one of the longest standing members of the ILG, it is a testament to his commitment to the company and our customers that he receives regular recognition and nominations by his colleagues.

In September Cliff has received recognition from not only colleagues, but customers alike. Cliff has really made a difference on a number of new and existing accounts recently and comments as below are no unusual

“We have never received such an excellent service as when Cliff moved urgent pallets from Worthing to the Czech Republic in 22hrs flat.”

“Please can you pass on our thanks to Cliff for the great job he has done with organising the palletising of the shipments to our Danish customer.  This has been a great help with meeting the demands of a relatively new and potentially key account for our business”

We have seen so many occasions where Cliff has shown such outstanding commitment, he is a real ambassador for ILG, putting our customers first, every time.

Congratulations Cliff, a really well deserved award, keep up the good work.
