21 years trading well done ILG

1st November 2011

On the 1st November 1990 a new company was born in Crawley West Sussex.

This was not the only significant news in 1990.....

Nelson Mandela was released

Margaret Thatcher resigned

East & West Germany unite

The Cold War came to an end

Tom Ashley was born

Iraq invaded Kuwait

Operating from 3,000sq ft of brand new warehouse and offices ILG was established and was open for business.

On that very first day 3 artics full of business publications arrived from Dun & Bradstreet our very first client and we were up and running.

21 years and three complete moves later here we are still open for business!  This in itself is an achievement based on the high percentage of business failures in those key formative years.

So we still handle work for Dun & Bradstreet, we operate from 66,000sq ft, employ 105 staff, have over 600 courier & freight clients and provide warehousing & fulfilment for a further 100+ clients.

So quite a lot of change but one thing that remains constant is our commitment to provide the very highest levels of service, at competitive prices and delivered with that personal touch.

Thank you to all of our wonderful clients and staff that make ILG the company it is today
