What did you do before you joined ILG?

Before I joined ILG I worked at Homebase as a Replenishment Team Leader. I also ran a dog-walking franchise for a couple of years with my sister.

Why did you join ILG?

I joined ILG because I wanted a change from the world of retail and something that wasn’t too customer facing. ILG was an opportunity to do something different and new and as soon as I was out of the interview I knew it was right for me.

What does your job involve?

As a Contract Coordinator my job involves so much more than just packing boxes. I manage my own team and contract which involves a lot of organisation.

What do you like most about your job?

The people and the banter at ILG are the best parts about my job, I have made lifelong friends here! As well as this my role gives me the freedom to take the job in my own direction and allows me to get the best out of everyone in my team.

How would you describe the opportunities for promotion?

The opportunities for promotion at ILG are good and for me personally they were steady, my managers allowed me to progress at my own pace.

How would you describe the training you have received?

My initial training from Jack on Trend was amazing and he taught me everything I needed to know – he was a star!

What advice would you give to anyone considering applying to ILG?

To definitely give it a go! The people, the culture and the working environment here are great and if you’re looking for a job you can leave at work then it’s good.
