What did you do before you joined ILG?
I worked as a Goods In Supervisor for a pharmaceutical company for drug trials.
Why did you join ILG?
I was looking for a better work-life balance.
What does your job involve?
As one of the Section Managers at our East Grinstead site, I help oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, organise stock-takes, re-profile for a more efficient operation and project work for new business.
What do you like most about your job?
Every day is different. From goods in, to picking and packing. No two days are the same.
How would you describe the opportunities for promotion?
If you have an idea speak up and share it. We all know word-of-mouth travels fast, so let it travel to the right people and it could win you an award (like I did in 2019 when I won Employee of the Year and SMOM)!
How would you describe the training you have received?
ILG has grown so much over the last three years, we are always changing the way we do things. Since our online training platform, Nimble, has come on board it has put all the tools into one box for anyone to access.
What advice would you give to anyone considering applying to ILG?
“Anyone wanting to join the team, come with an open mind as plans changes and new ideas are always welcome. We want to work smarter not harder.”
