The ILG Story
International Logistics Group was born in 1990 with a single delivery vehicle and a single-minded commitment to help its customers succeed. From day one we focused on nurturing mutually productive, long-term relationships rooted in trust. We championed service excellence, best value for money and a relentless attention to the smallest detail. After three decades of ups, downs and sustained growth, we continue to follow the same uncompromising mission and values.
Read our valuesHow We’ve Grown
We started in fulfilment with a modest 5000 sq ft warehouse and just five staff. Consistent growth in the 90s followed and in 2000 we partnered with a pioneer in online sales to place ILG at the forefront of the embryonic e-commerce fulfilment sector.
In 2011, we acquired a London delivery company that serviced mostly fashion customers. This was our first step to specialisation in fashion and beauty fulfilment. Seven years later, we became part of global 3PL Yusen Logistics, a move that ensured stability for our customers in the wake of Brexit and ensuing pandemic.
Today, we employ over 500 people and service more than 350 delivery and fulfilment customers from 11 facilities across the UK and EU.

Green Energy – by switching all our sites to Green Energy contracts we are making significant carbon footprint savings across all warehouses and offices. Electric Car Chargers – these charging points make it easier for employees and visitors to charge their electric vehicles. Skylights – having extensive skylights means natural light can be let into our warehouses, reducing the number of lights that need to be switched on. Cardboard Balers – all ILG paper and cardboard packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials. Every week we send over six tonnes of cardboard for recycling. Solar Panels – some ILG sites are equipped with solar panels which are a renewable power source that does not emit carbon. Green Champions – at each ILG site we have allocated green champions who promote our environmental projects and make sure we recycle, replace, reuse and reduce wherever possible. Sensor Lights – motion sensors increase how effectively we use LED lighting by detecting movement and only switching on LED lights when needed. Zero-Landfill Waste – we reduce waste wherever possible, and none is sent to landfill. 100% of our waste is either recycled or used as fuel in the energy-from-waste process to generate electricity.
