Goods In Supervisor


Location: Brackmills

Hours: 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, consisting of early and late shifts. Includes evening and weekend work

Salary: Salary of £24,000 – £26,364 per annum, dependent on experience.


Your Role

As a Goods-In Supervisor, you’ll be tasked with directing and coordinating warehouse activities within the Goods-In team.

Specifically, your role will involve:

• Assigning tasks to staff and organising them to ensure full contract coverage at all times
• Ensuring customers’ requirements are fulfilled in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
• Proactively seeking process improvements using a methodical and consistent approach
• Taking responsibility and ownership of problems and ensuring they are resolved
• Advising, leading, motivating and developing team members

About You

Your role will operate on a shift pattern working 40 hours per week, 5 days in 7 comprising of early and late shifts.

About You:

To be considered as our Goods-In Supervisor, you will need:

• Previous goods-in experience
• Ideal Goods-In Supervisors will have supervisory experience, and a forklift license is desirable.
• Sufficient experience and knowledge of warehouse operations to effectively manage a designated area and provide excellent levels of service to the customer
• The ability to support the Warehouse Manager in the performance management, development, mentoring and coaching of members of designated teams
• The ability to co-ordinate and delegate within a team whilst remaining operationally hands on, with the capability to co-ordinate daily activities

  • Physically fit enough to work in a role where the vast majority of the day is standing and requires some lifting
