Warehouse Team Leader

Overview:

Location: Brackmills 2

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, which may include early, late and weekend shifts

Salary: £25,653 – £29,063 per annum, depending on experience

The role

Warehouse Operations are at the heart of what we do. Our customers choose ILG because our attention to detail across services like picking, embroidery and engraving adds something special to their brand.  As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will direct and supervise all warehouse activities in your designated area, including:

  • Responsibility for the overall productivity within your designated team
  • Actively support operational change whilst effectively minimising disruption to production and service
  • Managing and co-ordinating operational activities
  • Attending and chairing briefings, when required
  • Conducting regular team briefings with your own staff
  • Communicating issues and information to your line manager

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse operation
  • Experience and knowledge of warehouse operations to effectively manage designated area to provide an excellent level of customer service
  • Ability to support the Warehouse Manager in the performance management, development, mentoring and coaching of members of designated team
  • Ability to coordinate and delegate within a team whilst remaining operationally hands-on
  • A methodical approach and the ability to prioritise workload and tasks
  • An understanding of, and ability to apply warehouse, health & safety and security laws and regulations
  • An understanding of 3EX.Net warehouse management system (desirable) and MS office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
