This is a full time position on a six month fixed term contract, Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week, this role will be based with our finance team in Burgess Hill and includes remote working in line with our home working policy.

Salary up to £20,000 per annum pro rata

Your Role

The role is will be working within a small finance team covering all aspects of the Finance functions including payables, receivables, cost management, accounts preparation and the production of statutory accounts.

  • · Assisting budget holders with Purchase Order processing/analysis
  • · Assisting with management of Company Credit Cards and transactional analysis
  • · Raising manual sales invoice, manage Customer accounts and assist with credit control activities
  • Importing and manipulating large volumes of carrier data, and investigating variances
  • · Assisting with Labour cost reporting and liaising with Operational budget holders on payroll & agency costs
  • · Providing support as required to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller

About You

To join the team, you’ll need:

    • Diligent, working to a high degree of accuracy
    • Able to learn new processes and procedures and complete these accurately
  • Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of analysing and manipulating data
  • · Can demonstrate strong reconciliation skills
  • MS Office Skills; Intermediate Excel to include look up formulas and pivot tables
  • · Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills and an ability to see an issue through to resolution
