I’m Tom, Client Services and IT Director at ILG. I take responsibility for integrating our systems with all major e-commerce platforms and online shopping sites, and ensuring our customers’ goods are properly logged and coded for fast, accurate picking, packing and delivery. For that I am blessed with a state-of-the-art IT system that gives me all the information I need.
Integration with online shopping platforms
We use API solutions to seamlessly integrate our warehouse management system with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento, online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay, and omni-channel retail sites including BrightPearl, Sage and Zedonk.
We are very flexible in how we receive your orders, either in real time using our API tools, in batched files sent via FTP or through our website.
If you or your customer have chosen a tracked shipping service, details are uploaded to your system for both you and your customer to track the delivery online. We also send a branded dispatch email giving your customer access to “one click live tracking” directly from their confirmation email. Once we have processed your customer’s order, confirmation of dispatch is sent back to you, so you can update the customer and keep your system up to date.
We extend and support your brand across the entire process so your customer has familiarity and continuity throughout. Personalised dispatch paperwork and emails can include details about returns procedures, warranties or anything else you might want to add

Warehouse Management System
Our state-of-the-art warehouse management system is at your disposal too. In addition to the key role it plays in integrating with online shopping sites, our technology supports the fulfilment and warehousing services we provide in a number of valuable ways.
Via a secure web account, you have real-time visibility of all your transactions, from goods-in receipt to proof of delivery. We also provide automated and bespoke reporting options.
We always make sure we’re promoting your brand, not ours. Our technology is designed to fully support your brand, with personalised documentation to your specifications, such as branded delivery notifications.
Using SMS, we can notify your UK customers of delivery time windows and inform them of any changes. Customers can manage their delivery online via a dedicated web page.
Our systems provide sophisticated back order management with automatic processing in chronological order. RF scanning and barcode technology gives excellent stock and order accuracy.
Security and resilience
Our servers are situated in a virtualised environment at a hosted data centre alongside some of the leading UK banks. This gives us greater capacity and resilience against failure. All data is backed up on a real time basis to a secondary location.
