Adverse Weather Conditions and Potential for Interruption to Service

As you are no doubt aware, much of the country is experiencing severe weather conditions as snow and ice pass through the UK. A Met Office ‘yellow warning’ remains in some areas until Monday morning with further disruption possible throughout the week, owing to the cold temperatures.

In line with these conditions, we are expecting widespread disruption to services today from our carriage and freight partners with treacherous travel conditions expected across much of the country. Specifically, for domestic deliveries we are advising of the potential of 24-48 hours delay to all shipments as the networks recover and due to localised disruption.

ILG, along with our parent company Yusen Logistics, continue to monitor the situation closely and will strive to keep you updated on any specific delays that you may need to be aware of. In the meantime, we ask for your understanding in potential interruptions to both our internal SLA’s and our couriers’ delivery promise.
