09th March 2023
Further to our update yesterday, much of the country is continuing to experience severe weather conditions as snow and ice pass through the UK. A Met Office ‘Level 3 alert’ has now been issued for many areas and further disruption is still possible in the coming days.
Treacherous travel conditions are expected across much of the country today, and we are expecting our carriage and freight partners to experience disruptions to services. Specifically, we continue to advise that for domestic deliveries there is the possibility of localised delays of 24-48 hours to some shipments as the networks recover and due to localised disruption.
Along with our parent company Yusen Logistics, we continue to monitor the situation closely and will strive to keep you updated on any specific delays that you may need to be aware of. In the meantime, we ask for your understanding regarding potential interruptions to both our internal SLAs and our couriers’ delivery promise.
All our facilities remain open and are operating as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to you or your customers.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your usual ILG contact.
