Suspension of Royal Mail International Export Services due to Cyber Incident

Please be advised that currently Royal Mail International Export services are suspended following a cyber incident. As a result, we are unable to dispatch items to overseas destinations via Royal Mail.

The following services for parcels and letters are affected:

  • Royal Mail International Tracked
  • Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed
  • Royal Mail International Signed
  • Royal Mail International Standard

All items that have already been despatched will be subject to delays. All export items already received by Royal Mail are being processed through the Royal Mail UK network and held securely for export processing to recommence as soon as our export despatch systems are available again.

Please be advised that Royal Mail UK, Domestic Services are unaffected.

If you usually utilise the Royal Mail International service, ILG will automatically route your parcels with an alternative carrier at your tariffed rates. Please advise your usual ILG contact if you do not wish for this to happen.

In the meantime, we’re working with Royal Mail to restore systems. Royal Mail have sought to reassure us that they’re not aware of any sensitive customer data having being compromised at this stage. We would like to reassure you that we will inform you if this situation were to change.
